FAQs

What is Frozen Citrus Pie?

Frozen Citrus Pie is a refreshing dessert made with a creamy citrus filling that is frozen in a pie crust. It typically combines citrus juices and zest with a creamy base, making it a perfect dessert for warm weather.

Can I make this pie ahead of time?

Yes, Frozen Citrus Pie is a perfect make-ahead dessert. You can prepare it and keep it in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. Just make sure it's well covered to prevent freezer burn.

What can I serve with Frozen Citrus Pie?

Fresh berries, a dollop of whipped cream, a sprinkle of coconut flakes, or a drizzle of honey or a fruit sauce.

What if my pie doesn't set properly?

Ensure the pie is frozen for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results. If it still doesn't set properly, you may need to adjust the ratio of the filling ingredients, ensuring there's enough citrus juice and zest for flavor but not so much that it prevents the pie from setting.

  • Embrace Store-Bought Crusts: Grab a pre-made graham cracker crust from the store to save time and effort.
  • The frozen lemonade concentrate comes in a little can that you can find in the freezer section, usually hanging out near the frozen fruit or frozen juice/cocktail mixer section of the grocery store.
