FAQs

What is Frozen Peanut Butter Pie?

Frozen Peanut Butter Pie is a rich and creamy dessert made with a peanut butter filling that’s poured into a cookie crust and then frozen until firm. It's often topped with whipped cream, chocolate, or other delicious garnishes.

Can I use natural peanut butter?

Yes, you can use natural peanut butter, but make sure it is well mixed to incorporate the oil. The texture may be slightly different, but it will still be delicious.

How do I prevent the pie from becoming too hard to slice?

Allow the pie to sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes before slicing.
Use a sharp knife dipped in hot water to make slicing easier.

Top Tips

  • Grab a pre-made graham cracker crust or chocolate cookie crust from the store to save time and effort.
  • You can add other ingredients to the filling, such as chopped peanuts, chocolate chips, or Reese's Pieces.
  • Pour the filling into a prepared pie crust and freeze for at least 4 hours, or overnight. The filling needs to be completely frozen before serving, otherwise it will be difficult to slice.
  • The best way we found to slice the pie is to run a knife under hot water, then slice through the pie.
