Bubble Up Lasagna

Bubble Up Lasagna is a quick and easy twist on traditional lasagna that uses biscuit dough as the base instead of traditional noodles. The delicious and comforting dish is made with layers of meat sauce, cheese, and biscuits, all baked together for a bubbly, cheesy, and satisfying meal that the whole family will love.

– 1 pound ground beef or Italian sausage – 24 oz spaghetti sauce – 1 cup ricotta cheese – 1 16 oz. tube refrigerated biscuits – 2-3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded – 1/2 cup parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Prepare your 9x13" baking dish. Cut each biscuit into 8-10 pieces.

In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese, and 1 cup of spaghetti sauce.

Gently fold biscuits with the sauce to coat. Spread into prepared baking dish.

Sprinkle 1/2 to 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese on top.

Cook Italian sausage or hamburger, breaking it into crumbles. Drain any excess grease. Place meat back into the pan and stir in the remainder of the spaghetti sauce.

Spread meat mixture on top of biscuits and cheese. Sprinkle 2 cups of mozzarella on top.

Bake uncovered 30-35 minutes or until biscuits are thoroughly cooked. Serve hot and enjoy!
