Chocolate No Bakes

Chocolate No Bakes are a classic childhood cookie! Classic No-Bake Cookies use peanut butter, oat, and cocoa powder ingredients, ideal for a quick treat!

– 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter – 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar – 1/2 tsp salt – 1/3 cup cocoa powder – 1/2 cup milk – 2 cups quick oats – 2/3 cup peanut butter – 1 tsp vanilla extract

Step 1:

Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Combine sugar, salt, butter, milk, and cocoa powder in a medium or large saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.

Step 2:

Bring to a rolling boil, then boil for 60 seconds without stirring.

Step 3:

Remove from heat and immediately add peanut butter, vanilla extract, and oats.

Step 4:

Stir well, then drop by tablespoonfuls onto parchment paper. Allow to cool for 20-30 minutes or place in refrigerator to chill.
