Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan. Melt butter and pour into the bottom of the dish. Cut each cinnamon roll into 6-8 pieces and spread them in the prepared dish. Whisk eggs, milk/heavy cream, vanilla extract, & seasonings. Pour over cinnamon rolls. Drizzle with syrup and bake 25-30 minutes.
Let the casserole cool for a few minutes. Then, drizzle the reserved icing over the top. Serve warm and enjoy!
