Hot Fudge Pudding Cake

– 1 cup all purpose flour – 3/4 cup brown sugar or granulated sugar (your choice) – 1/4 cup cocoa powder – 2 tsp baking powder – 1/4 tsp salt – 1/2 cup milk – 1/3 cup butter, melted – 1 tsp vanilla extract – 1/2 cup granulated sugar – 1/2 cup brown sugar – 1/4 cup cocoa powder – 1 1/4 cups hot water

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13" baking dish with non-stick cooking spray

In a large bowl, combine cake ingredients until well combined. Spread into the prepared baking dish.

In a separate bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cocoa powder. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the batter in the baking dish.

Slowly pour hot water over the top. Do not stir. The water will create a rich fudgy sauce as the cake bakes.

Bake in prepared oven 30-40 minutes or until the top is just done. Toothpick test can be done, but only insert into the cake part to check if it is done. Cool 5-10 minutes, then serve and enjoy!
