Prepare a 9x13" baking dish with non stick cooking spray.

In a large skillet, cook and crumble the hamburger over medium heat. Add onions and pepper cooking until the meat is no longer pink, peppers and onions are softened. Drain any grease.

Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, brown sugar, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for about 15 minutes, uncovered, over low heat.

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spread one tube of crescent rolls into the bottom of the prepared pan. Pinch together the seams and place up the sides a little. Bake about 7 minutes.

Remove from the oven and spread sloppy joe mixture evenly over top of the crescent rolls.

Sprinkle with shredded cheese. Lay the second tube of crescent rolls on top of the meat, stretching to cover all of the meat. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter and brush on top of the crescent rolls. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.
