Spiked Hot Cocoa

What is the best alcohol for hot chocolate? My favorite is Kahlua. Do you like peppermint, try peppermint schnapps.  Or give Bailey’s Irish Cream a try! Spiced rum, dark rum, vanilla vodka or even bourbon

Ingredients:

– 1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk – 2 cups heavy whipping cream – 6 cups milk – 2 tsp vanilla extract – 1/4 cup cocoa powder – 1-2 cups semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips – 1 cup Kahlua (or alcohol of choice)

In a slow cooker, combine sweetened condensed milk, heavy whipping cream, whole milk, vanilla extract and chocolate chips.

Step 1:

Whisk in cocoa powder.

Step 2:

Cook on low for 2 hours, whisking occasionally, until the chocolate is all melted and cocoa powder is mixed in well.

Step 3:

Pour in Kahlua or your favorite alcohol right before serving.   You can also add marshmallows, if desired.

Serve with a candy cane and top with whipped cream. Always Drink Responsibly!
