Biscuits and Gravy Casserole

When it comes to a delicious and hearty breakfast option, few things can beat a Biscuits and Gravy Casserole. This delightful dish combines the comforting flavors of flaky biscuits, creamy gravy, and savory breakfast ingredients into a satisfying meal.

– tube of refrigerated biscuits – eggs – country or peppered gravy – breakfast sausage – shredded cheese (cheddar, colby) – milk or heavy cream – onion powder – salt, pepper to taste

Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Cook the breakfast sausage until browned, drain. Cut each biscuit into 8-10 pieces. Spread them into the bottom of your prepared baking pan.

Layer all but reserved sausage over the biscuit pieces. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheese on top of sausage.

Whisk eggs, onion powder, and milk, pour evenly over the layers. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste. Make gravy according to package instructions and pour evenly on top of the egg layer.

Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese and reserved sausage. Bake in preheated oven for 30-40 minutes or until golden and eggs are set. Pour extra gravy over the top, if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
