Chicken Cobbler

– 6 tbsp butter, divided – 4 cups chicken, cooked and shredded – 12 oz vegetables (mixed or peas, carrots) – 1 1/2 cups chicken broth – 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup – salt, pepper to taste – 1 tsp garlic powder – 1 tsp onion powder – 1 box (11.36 oz) Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix – 2 cups whole milk – 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Melt 4 tablespoons of butter, pour into the dish, and spread it around evenly.

Layer cooked, shredded chicken on top of the butter.

Spread peas and carrots over the top. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

In a medium bowl, whisk cream of chicken soup with chicken broth, until smooth. Pour over the top, covering the chicken and vegetables.

Combine contents from the cheddar bay biscuit mix with milk, and shredded cheese. Set aside the seasoning pack from the box for the topping. Pour the biscuit mix on top as the final layer. Do not stir! Bake 50-60 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

Remove cobbler from the oven. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter and mix in the seasoning pack from the box. Brush over the top of hot cobbler. Serve hot and enjoy!
