FAQs

What is TikTok Chicken Cobbler?

TikTok Chicken Cobbler is a viral recipe from TikTok that combines chicken, vegetables, and a creamy sauce, topped with buttery cheesy cobbler. It's a comforting, easy-to-make dish that's become popular for its simplicity and deliciousness.

Can I make this casserole ahead of time?

Yes, you can prepare the filling ahead of time and refrigerate it for up to 24 hours. When ready to bake, let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes, then add the biscuit topping and bake as directed.

Can I add other ingredients to the filling?

Yes, you can customize the filling by adding ingredients such as:
Sautéed mushrooms, diced bell peppers, spinach or kale, or cooked bacon or ham for extra flavor.

Top Tips

  • Use pre-cooked chicken: Pre-cooked rotisserie chicken or leftover grilled chicken can be used in this recipe to save time.
  • Do not Mix! It is tempting to mix everything together, but don't do it. The recipe comes together wonderfully without mixing.
  • Use your favorite vegetables. I prefer peas and carrots, but mixed veggies, or even no vegetables work just as well.
  • Resting Time: After removing the cobbler from the oven, let it rest for a few minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld and the filling to set slightly.
  • If you have leftovers, place them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.

Hi! That is wonderful to hear! I use a 9x13" baking dish. I realized I missed adding the size, like I usually do. Thank you for asking. I have adjusted the recipe to show pan size. I hope you enjoy!
