Smores Poke Cake

This easy Smores Poke Cake is chocolate cake mix filled with hot fudge, topped with a delicious marshmallow buttercream frosting, graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate chips.

INGREDIENTS

– Chocolate cake mix (plus whatever the box mix requires, such as oil and eggs) – hot fudge sauce – sweetened condensed milk – graham cracker crumbs – mini marshmallows – chocolate chips – marshmallow creme – unsalted butter – vanilla extract – powdered sugar – milk

Bake cake according to box directions. Allow to cool.

Poke holes about 1 inch apart, using the end of a wooden spoon or dowel.

Mix sweetened condensed milk with 1/2 cup heated hot fudge sauce.

Step 4

Pour over the cake trying to get into all the holes. Place in refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Step 5

Next, make your frosting. Start by mixing the butter and marshmallow creme in a large bowl or stand mixer until well blended.

Step 6

Mix in the powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until beaten well.

Step 7

Pull cake out of refrigerator and frost.

Step 8

Next, sprinkle with your graham cracker crumbs (or crush 3 whole graham crackers).

Step 9

Finally, add on your marshmallows and chocolate chips. Then, cut into that goodness and eat it up!
