Strawberry Jello Poke Cake is a fast, easy, fun boxed cake mix, filled with strawberry Jell-O, and whipped cream on top.

– 1 box white cake mix (and ingredients listed on the box)
– 1 box (3 oz) Strawberry Jello mix (or cherry or raspberry
– 1 cup hot, boiling water
– 1 cup cold water
– 1 tub Whipped topping (Cool Whip)

Cool the cake for at least 15 minutes, then poke holes in it (using toothpick, fork, or end of a wooden spoon), about every 1/2 inch.
Make your box cake mix, according to instructions on the back of the box.

Next, make your Jello, according to the box directions with hot and cold water.

Chill for 3-4 hours to let the cake set, then spread with your whipped topping and any fruit, if you are using it. Keep in refrigerator to chill. Enjoy!
Pour or spoon jello slowly over the top of your cake to cover it.
