Easter Dirt Cake is a fun, no-bake dessert with creamy chocolate pudding, whipped topping, and crushed cookies, topped with festive candy eggs-perfect for spring gatherings!
In a food processor or large Ziploc bag, crush 32-36 Oreo cookies into fine crumbs.
Spread about ⅔ of the Oreo crumbs into an even layer in the bottom of a 9x13-inch pan. Set aside the remaining crumbs for the “dirt” topping. Refrigerate the crust while you prepare the filling.
In a large bowl or stand mixer, combine softened cream cheese and butter. Add powdered sugar and beat until smooth.
Fold in 16 oz. whipped topping until well incorporated.
In another large bowl, whisk 2 boxes of instant pudding, milk and vanilla, until thickened.
Fold pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture. Remove crust from refrigerator and evenly layer filling on top of the cookie crumbs.
Spread the rest of the cookie crumbs over top, creating that "dirt" layer. Sprinkle the rest of the crushed cookies on top.
Refrigerate at least 1 hour. Decorate with candy (Peeps, Robin's Eggs, jelly beans, edible grass) before serving. Keep refrigerated. Scoop and enjoy!
