Easy Cherry and Pineapple Dump Cake Recipe
Cherry and Pineapple Dump Cake is a delicious and easy dessert that's perfect for any occasion. Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream for the perfect summer dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
- ¾ cups butter, thinly sliced
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In the bottom of the prepared baking dish, layer the crushed pineapple, including the juice.
- Spread cherry pie filling over the top.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the fruit layers, breaking up any large clumps.
- Place the thinly sliced butter evenly over the top of the cake mix.
- Optional: Sprinkle chopped nuts over the butter layer, if you're using them.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling around the edges. Serve warm and enjoy!
