Best Oreo Christmas Dirt Cake Recipe
Let's talk about one of my favorite treats for the holiday season: the Best Oreo Christmas Dirt Cake. This delicious dessert is a festive take on the classic dirt cake, perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth during the most wonderful time of the year. Grab your spoon and indulge in this treat that captures the spirit of Christmas in every bite!
Ingredients
- 32 Golden Oreo cookies
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 16 oz. whipped topping (Cool Whip)
- 2 3.4 oz. boxes white chocolate or vanilla pudding
- 3 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Christmas candy (Peeps, gumdrops, sprinkles, M&M's)
Instructions
- In a food processor or large Ziploc bag, crush 32 Oreo cookies.
- Spread evenly in the bottom of a 9x13" pan. Place into the refrigerator while you make the filling.
- In a large bowl or stand mixer, combine softened cream cheese and butter. Add in powdered sugar and beat until smooth.
- Fold in 8 oz. whipped topping until well incorporated.
- In another large bowl, whisk 2 boxes of instant pudding, milk and vanilla, until thickened.
- Fold into the cream cheese mixture until combined well.
- Spread evenly over the top of Oreo crust.
- Evenly spread the rest of the whipped topping (8 oz) on top.
- Decorate with candy (Peeps, gumdrops, holiday sprinkles) before serving. Refrigerate at least 1 hour. Scoop and enjoy!
