Soft and Chewy M&M cookies are a fun treat that brings happiness to both kids and adults. The colorful candies nestled in a buttery, chewy cookie dough will have you reaching for seconds (and maybe thirds). Get your baking apron on and let's bake some M&M cookies!
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. About 3-4 minutes.
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cornstarch, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Pour in the chocolate chips and M&M's into your cookie batter.
Gently fold in the M&M's candies and chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Place extra M&M's on top, if desired.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely. Enjoy!
