Easy Strawberry Brownies with Cake Mix Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 (15.25 oz) box strawberry cake mix
- 2 eggs
- ⅓ cup oil (vegetable or canola)
- 1 teaspoon strawberry extract (or vanilla)
Strawberry Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoon strawberry preserves
- 1-2 tablespoon milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line an 8x8 or 9x9 inch pan with nonstick spray, then parchment paper, to help remove cooked brownies.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, oil, and strawberry (or vanilla) extract. The batter will be thick.
- Spread the batter into the prepared baking pan. Bake 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. Cool completely.
- In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, strawberry preserves, and milk, until smooth.
- Pour evenly over the cooled brownies. Cut, serve, and enjoy!
