Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Prepare your cookie sheet/sheet pan with parchment paper or silicone baking pad.
Combine dry ingredients-flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda in a bowl.
Mix together in a stand mixer or a large bowl, softened butter and white sugar on medium speed until well blended.
Add egg and vanilla, mix until well combined.
Mix in the dry ingredients until it is blended and should pull away from the sides into a more cohesive dough.
Place ¼ cup of sugar in a bowl. Make about a tablespoon sized cookie ball (with spoon or cookie scoop), then roll into the sugar.
Place onto prepared cookie sheets at least 1 inch apart.
Bake 9-11 minutes in the preheated oven (my cookies were exactly 10 minutes). Cool on cookie racks and enjoy!
