Strawberry Jello Poke Cake Recipe

Strawberry Jello Poke Cake is a fast, easy, fun boxed cake mix, filled with strawberry Jell-O, and whipped cream on top.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box white cake mix (and ingredients listed on the box)
  • 1 box (3 oz) Strawberry Jello mix (or cherry or raspberry
  • 1 cup hot, boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 tub Whipped topping (Cool Whip)

Instructions
 

  • Make box cake mix, according to instructions on the back of the box.
  • Cool the cake for at least 15 minutes, then poke holes in it (using toothpick, fork, or end of a wooden spoon), about every ½ inch.
  • Next, make Jell-O, according to the box directions with hot and cold water.
  • Pour or spoon jello slowly over the top of your cake to cover it.
  • Chill for 3-4 hours to let the cake set, then spread with whipped topping and any fruit, if you are using it. Keep in refrigerator to chill. Enjoy!
