Valentine's Day Cookies with M&M's Recipe
These soft and chewy cookies are the ideal Valentine’s Day treat thanks to pink and red M&M candies! Every bite of these gooey chocolate-filled Valentine’s Day Cookies with M&M’s make them festive and the perfect Valentine treat!
Ingredients
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup Cupid's mix M&M's
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone baking mat.
- In a large bowl or stand mixer, combine brown sugar, softened butter, and granulated sugar until smooth, about 1-2 minutes.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until just combined.
- Mix in flour, baking soda, and salt, until no dry flour but do not overmix.
- Stir in chocolate chips and M&M’s.
- Scoop cookie dough into tablespoon or larger sized dough balls and place on the prepared baking sheet. Place extra chocolate chips or M&M’s on the top, if desired.
- Bake 8-10 minutes or until golden brown on the edges. Allow cookies to rest on the sheets for 3-4 minutes, then place on cooling racks. Eat up and enjoy!
